It's probably because you twitter account has so few tweets... our system automatically approves accounts that are actively used for the reasons you've mentioned.

The approval process is dynamic, so the better the quality of the twitter account the higher the twust score. If you take a look at the twust information page you'll get a better idea of the areas you could improve, to get your account approved faster:

For example, it helps if the account is more active with interesting personal tweets and it'll give you a better chance of keeping followers too.
