yep, try www.youlikehits.com for facebook likes. I'm using their system and it appears to be working well, but using it to expand my twitter presence is cumbersome - the user interface on twiends for gaining twitter followers is infinitly superior to youlikehits - after all why use a pop-up window system when you don't have to (like with Facebook).  YouLikeHit's big downside - lack of users - usually there'd be 170-200 people logged on to the system.

Twiends' usefulness to me has certainly shrunk dramatically since the removal of the facebook feature, the down-side of twitter is I'm getting loads of followers, but they disappear as quickly as they come - obviously they come to twiends to bang up some credits to gain followers, and then jump onto a service like manageflitter.com to un-follow the people they've just followed to get points for followers.  Interesting that Twitter doesn't have any issues or complaints to that practise - I would call that aggressive churning or friending - I've extracted my log, and I can pinpoint several hundred twitter accounts who have followed me several times and unfollowed me.

I fail to see the point in that. However with facebook, people who 'like' my page usually stick around. I left my FB page along for a month and lost about 15 out of the 20'000+ likes so the retention rate is good, I've also have had some level of success making money out of my facebook page and its 20'000+ likes by promoting my businesses there.

...Now youtube's gone too?  I wonder if there were many people using it.

What Twiends needs is more drawcards, not less. Facebook and Websites are highly desirable features.

How to make money using an on-line tool like this - you can also sell clickbank products like that and get a few sales.

I found the websites feature on youlikehits.com a fantastic way to promote my SendOutCards business - I designed a simple squeeze page "exclusive free offer to youLikeHits users" - allowing them to design a FREE card online and have a real greeting card sent to somebody they care about - this test drive offer has landed me 87 gift accounts and managed to convert 18 into paid $9.80 subscription accounts and 1 entreprenaur account - the gift accounts cost me just under $150, the entreprenaur sign-up landed me $140 in commissions, almost covering my costs, plus the 18 subscription accounts will be adding $176.40 in residual revenue, @ 5% commission = An extra $8.80 - unfortunately now I don't get as many website hits anymore on youlikehits as I've saturated their user base and only a dribble of a response happens now.

I'd like to do that ten fold and plough the money back into a site like YouLikeHits to buy points :) but needs a lot more users for me to be able to do that. Twiends was right on-track with its huge number of users, but all that came to and end when websites went, then facebook. Leaving twitter. Last one, when that's gone, it's all over.
