This is terrible news. I don't use twiends for twitter at all. Facebook is a much better marketing platform than twitter for any business. I can't see how twiends.com is going to be useful to me without facebook! Thank god I didn't buy seeds. That would have pissed me off.

I agreee This is not good for Twiends at all! They must come back with a better thing to replace the facebook, more credits or free credits for everyone who is longer her for a long time. The credits or seed on Twitter are low and youtube is the same. A lot of people will not pay everyday for 75 seeds, that is to low at all, they must come with more.

I really liked the Facebook feature it got me a few thousand likes for my page and I really liked that. I know it's beyond their control though when Facebook as a monopoly wants to step in and make things difficult for the everyday business owner to work this site. I've been a long time supporter, I won't be anywhere. Dave you guys do a great job with the site. I look forward to new features and the years to come. Thanks again for keeping us updated!

Maybe it is better, you know why, I get sick of all the annoying fanpages, everytime I must remove them with one click option there was no chance to delete a lot in one time. I have must closed my public timeline on facebook because of all the I like this and I like that .blablablabla. Facebook is crap anyway. Most everyone here is here for FB fans.Only reason there is only 25 percent of the activity here from FB is because we are only allowed 5000 max likes and friends.With out FB twiends is no use for me.

This is a bunch of BS..... I pay all this money to promote on Facebook because its a better platform for any business. Twiends for Twitter just has a bunch of people who take your seeds and then unfollow you. Then they (Twiends) tell you to change your settings so that it only posts to people with low drop rates and now I have a bunch of seeds that know one takes and I guess thats because everyone on here has high drop rates!!!!!!     BRING TWIENDS FOR FACEBOOK BACK

Well....CRAP. Was up to 6,000 FB likes and had 1000 seeds left to use for my new page I just started up...any way you can give us some bonus points for sticking around? I don't really use twitter but guess i'll have to utilize it now.

But with only Twitter and YouTube you get not more than 40 seeds a day! That is not much if we give 3 or 4 seeds and there is also a Twitter Limit!

Wow - this is a disappointment - I was really hoping it would be resolved with FB - I have to say that I use twiends (and purchase seeds on a regular basis) strictly for FB - when I initially joined I was using the services for both twitter and FB - but it became pointless for me to use my seeds for twitter because for all followers I gained - 50 - 75% of them unfollowed me - I realize that this is why we receive seeds back which is great - the problem is that ok great we get the seeds back but just for more people to follow then once again unfollow - it's like a never ending cycle that doesn't seem to significantly increase my followers so I disabled my Twitter function here a long time ago and began using it strictly for FB. When I first joined we also had the option for traffic to your website and that was also disabled - I will not be leaving twiends and look forward to seeing what twitter updates are being added but unfortunately at this time I will be using free seeds until I see that it is beneficial to me to use part of my promotion budget to continue purchasing seeds - I understand that this is at no fault of twiends - FB is known for this and this is one of the reasons why twiends was so beneficial to us for our FB fan pages because it's so hard to find sites like this that actually are successful in complying with their requirements. I would be happy to purchase seeds for twitter followers if my numbers increased the they way they did on FB. Thank you Twiends for helping me to grow my FB fan page!! It really has been great - I guess it's time for me to utilize YouTube more and buy seeds for that! :) I do also want to say that while it's a disappointment for us and twiends - those of us who have been here a while are lucky to have had the likes that we have - Twiends is the only paid service I use to acquire likes/followers -  I used it as a way to get my numbers up while still promoting on my own - in the end it doesn't benefit us to have "fake" or uninterested fans/followers - how it does benefit us is by bringing more interest to our pages - so my suggestion to everyone that's so upset over this - be glad for the likes you did get - thank twiends for giving us a good start and continue promoting on your own - also I saw a comment somewhere that twitter is not good for marketing - that only FB is - (something along those lines) - trust me that is far from true - I was also late to the Twitter craze but I have less than 1500 followers and do very good business and networking there - you can find a lot of great info/tips on using twitter for marketing and promotion online and I definitely encourage you to do so!

This is very discouraging. There is so much of a difference between Facebook and Twitter promoting.

Thanks to Twiends (facebook tab) the past few months I have a good current/flow of people visiting my facebook pages plus getting my facebook page noticed. I've had great input from others through post and messages. Doing business with twiends has gained this clientele interest, and the interest has mainly come from "twiends facebook" followers. Promoting shouldn't stop suddenly, or interest declines. I also found so many interesting sites because of twiends. 

As a client of Twiends, I am asking you to revisit with FaceBook organization and speak with someone differently in their personnel group. You should be able to reach someone that is more helpful.

I do work with Twitter too, but have placed it to the rear. Has Twitter gained me input from followers? Possibly minor things like a few thank yous for clicking their follow button. Of course you can see numbers grow through followers, etc, but they are only numbers - if that excites you. Tweeting? Sure I tweet. With thousands of the worlds tweets, the tweet only stays at the top a second or two if you are lucky. This has little relevance. Has anyone noticed my tweets? I believe not. To this day, I believe it hasn't helped one iota in gaining interest.

Hummm - We just went through this same discouraging removal process when Twiends company stopped offering their fabulous website tab due to a complaint by Google. 

Twiends had a grand selection of tabs:
1) Twitter 2) Facebook 3) Websites 4) YouTube 5) Seeds

It has decreased to:
1) Twitter 2) YouTube 3) Seeds

Does Twiends plan to implement new tabs? If so, I honestly hope they will be helpful features. What happens when twitter does not work with Twiends and the twitter tab is removed?

This is a real shame I was only here for facebook as well. If there is anyway you can bring it back please do as I have just started to promote it out to others and orders are coming in.

Facebook are an absolute pain in the arse, they have made it nigh on impossible to get members to like our pages......

1st they removed the feature for other members to directly recommend so i turned to twiends and now they block this.

I would love to know exactly WHY it bothers them so much, it's not like were clubbing people over the head with bats to get them to join!!!

Really @ the people asking them to get Facebook to reconsider? I saw this one coming from a mile away, it's never going to happen.

Facebook makes a fortune off of their advertising system. If you want likes on your page you can pay anywhere from $3 to $5 per like placing Facebook ads - and a LOT of companies do it. Facebook was no doubt unhappy that all of a sudden everyone could get likes for 6 cents each, going around their advertising platform. So here we are. If you guys want fast Facebook likes there's not much of a choice but to start running good ads in Facebook itself and get ready to pay about $1.05+ per click.

That's just the way the cookie crumbles.

Anyways, as long as my beloved Twitter doesn't do something silly like Facebook did I'm Twiends for life.

I agree the reason whty they have made it so difficult to share is that facebook want to force people onto advertising their facebook page through facebook. Clever ploy make it easy for people to share so it gets targeted as a usefull promotion tool, everyone adopts and starts promoting it and then they turn the screw to force people wanting to catch up to pay huge rates for a an unconverting click . Nasty tactics but hey I bet they are seeing their profits soar.

Ah this sucks! Well ad a feature where users can start trending topics, and users can comment, like, subscribe on youtube.

I read online that sharing a facebook page can be looked at as spam unless you also "write something". Does this come into play with removing the facebook tab? If so, can you fix the program so we can continue with Facebook benefits?

You have a generous amount of clientele, 25% that represents Facebook. And I do believe 25% is whopping! You write "Facebook only represented about 25% of the activity on our site". Is this part of the decision to remove the Facebook tab?

Facebook lost millions of users in the USA recently. I think it may be the loss of privacy, and the selling of member information without their permission? I keep on trying to lock down my account to prevent silly games, apps and requests for answering game type questions like; "Are you gay?", but they keep popping up.

Maybe this is another reason why people are leaving Facebook.... Recently, I got locked out of Facebook, by Facebook. I found out that there is NO ONE there in customer service. I could not contact anyone to fix the problem. There is no transparency over there. Once I got locked out of my Facebook account, I suddenly realized that it is not all that it is cracked up to be. I spent a long time and a lot of energy figuring out how to get back into my own account, on my own, because Facebook was absolutely no help at all.  I realized Facebook is just a virtual reality, not REALITY. Trying to get help from virtual reality is like being locked into a looping answering machine... press 1 for I do not care about you, 2 for you s##*ck, 3 for get lost, and then repeating over and over.  If Facebook disappears, life goes on, right? I would not miss Facebook one iota if it disappeared tomorrow. 

What I use Facebook for (when i can access it)  is sharing and staying connected. I teach the Science Of Sustainable Health. My - A Green Road Blog goes out to all of my social networks, plus websites, through an RSS news feed and networking service. Due to this networking, I have a potential readership audience in the millions that I share with.

I like Twiends, but I use it in combination with other Twitter related services for best effect. My goal is to keep building my social network and get my networking numbers up, so I can share what I have with more people. Twiends is an important part of that. I hope they keep improving the service. 

I am curious about what the future holds here on Twiends, and what new features they roll out.

Meanwhile, life goes on. Just roll with it, and stay focused on what is important, like love, sharing, giving, and being happy. :)

I am also curious about another thing.. I used to be  a VIP member. All of a sudden, I stopped getting new Twiends on a daily basis. What happened?  Did everyone get cancelled with Facebook was dropped? I assume I got my VIP account cancelled, but there is no good way of checking. Maybe you can add this to the account section to see if the subscription is active or cancelled or on hold, or whatever.  

I did not make a decision to stop being a VIP and I liked the service.

Dave - if enough people requested that you made it that way (just a link to fan page for seeds) would you reconsider? Honestly, I feel pretty confident that I'm able to put together a fan page that will convert most of my visitors. I'm willing to pay for and drop down seeds to make that happen.

I hate FB (Food & Beverage). They make money only. Now I cannot even recommend an interesting page for my friends. You know why? Just because, in FB you have to pay much to get fans for your page. And Twiends offers us FREE fans. In fact, FB lacks friendly-structure, I have to learn in about a couple of days to know how to make a name for my page. We make money for FB, really. But FB treats us not well. I think Twitter is super excellent. Without any games like FB, which kill much our time, Twitter really give us the world of news free of charge. And thanks to Twiends, we learn much more "news source" absolutely free.

I have about 1 thousand FB friends, but what for? Daily I have to delete the so-called "notification emails" from FB that notify me that my friends invited me to join their games. But why my friends invited me? Why I received the noti. mails? Because, Facebook makes all of them automatically. The first time I created my FB account, from an invitation letter from a friend (always from some friends), I had to unchecked all the options that implied that FB will send me the noti. mails. Well, good news. But after some time, FB makes some things changed, and all options were checked again. Well, I gave up unchecking them. Simply, marked FB as spam.

I absolutely agree with Twiends to cut any relationship with FB. I hate FB, but love Twitter and Twiends.

Hmmm I am wondering if this could still work with facebooks new demands is a seperate api was set to search the facebook fans of a page once a user has clicked a button to say they have liked a page to the add credits.

so the user would

1) click on the fanpage through twiends

2)  like the page through an iframe

3) then click on a button added to the frame to say they have liked the page

4 ) api then searches the facebook fans for that users facebook name

5) when found user recieves credits

This does leave the gap of monitoring quality of likes and weeding out people who like then unlike straight away. It will also be server intensive but as you can see just from this immediate response the demand is there and this will ony increase as facebook continues to screw down 3rd party developers to increase their own profits until the bubble bursts (it probably has at least 12months as it is currently at its peek.

This is really too bad. I still plan to use Twiends for twitter, but I had just committed 10k fans to a client. Does anyone here have any experience buying Facebook like from another source?

Facebook is such a bloody Bugger! I can't believe Twiends let them do this. Why was it on first hand then? I mean was the old admins on Facebook were foolish and stupid to let go this for so long. Its really devastating to see FB getting disintegrated with Twiends. I won't say that this is the end of twiends but the majority of people will be leaving this portal. I personally was using Twiends for my fb page likes benefits. I wonder what Twiends will introduce to cover up this very huge loss but I am sure of the thing that whatever it is, Its not replacing the loss Twiends have to face. Attn Twiends Users: This is not a problem, but rather an opportunity for a solution. This is not the fault of Twiends. They are continually trying to do good things. Facebook has been kicking out apps and is likely to report about $150B in profits on ads that don't work. Not only will they not accept competition, but they will not give viable results unless you have several million dollars to drop on a page. Twiends still has YouTube and Twitter. WE are the users of Facebook. We should decide what we want to purchase and the art we're injecting into the world. I am calling for Twiends users and other sites alike to use your promotional YouTube videos to share Facebook pages. Use your Twitter. Like pages and do not leave. It's up to you to cross promote. Let Facebook know you are worth looking at. Spread the word! Let's grow larger than we could with incentivized sharing. If you're not willing to work this hard, keep in mind 2M is the number a video must receive to gain media recognition and serve your Facebook base indirectly. 1M is what you need for Twitter. Grow ethically and you will be vastly rewarded by your base.

This is really toooooo bad.  I loved this service for my facebook fan pages.  It was the only part that converted.  My twitter leads just unfollwed, resulting it wasted time and effort (and a little in money, although the re-seed feature was a happy surprise). 

I don't see myself spending any more money on this site now, after spending close to maybe $1,000.00 USD.  I'll probably use up my seeds and close up shop here.  

I'll check back frequently though to see if there are significant twitter updates that help out.  I wish you guys the best of luck.

Twitter has caps that make twiends very limited.  Facebook was the only reason I bothered with it but if you are unwilling to make the effort to fix things, there's no reason to stick around.  Hopefully someone else will come along and do it properly. 

Just saying.... I have found a few other sites.... All offer twitter, youtube, facebook and website connections.... THIS FACEBOOK PROBLEM IS A GLOBAL THING I SUPPOSE..... The other sites also are having "connectivity" issues with Facebbok... hmmmm.

Let's keep it real folks, those Facebook fan pages are a out right joke anyway, I got one and I dont really use it anyway, you cant find info on a person's fan page ANYWHERE on a personal page so who really care to run two pages anyway, I dont,  kudos Twiends for getting rid of that lame service anyway, Facebook & YouTube are trying to become internet bullies anyway..............

In my opinion twiends was one of the best websites our company ever found to build social platform in a fair and unique way.  The twitter feature is almost worthless comparing to the facebook feature.  In fact almost 60% of the people who follow me on twitter end up leaving me a few days later, so its like a complete waste of time at the rate of drop it has. 

If there is a way to comform to Facebook rules and you still can maintain a feature to help grow likes on your pages then I believe we as your members are more then glad to conform to the new regulations.  I have this feeling that twim which spam me for their useless service had someething to do with eveything up for all of us...  either way.. this website will no longer be an everyday activity for us and we are sad by the new changes.
